The solid timber frame combines with minimal ironmongery to create a timber casement window with exceptional beauty. The interior timber frame can be specified to either match or contrast with interior timber finishes to the architect or interior designer’s specification.

The timber frame of the Vero timber casement window is only 90mm, offering an interior finish that is minimal as well as square. This suits modern architectural designs looking to bring the materiality of timber into their designs.
Externally, the frames are finished in aluminium to protect the true timber frame from wet weather conditions and elongating the life of these bespoke timber casements. These exterior aluminium coverings can be PPC any RAL colour to suit the exterior design of the building.

Configurations
The Avino Vero timber window is available in a range of opening types to suit almost any timber casement window application required.
As well as side hung openings you can select tilt and turn options, bottom hung windows, double opening windows and various window configurations. All window openings are inward opening.
Double opening windows are possible with a flying mullion or a fixed mullion.
Performance
The timber window design has been fully tested for all weather performance including air permeability (class 4), water tightness (class E750A) and wind resistance (class B3/C2).
The solid timber frame offers enhanced thermal insulation, creating a timber casement window with a Uw value of 0.58 W/m2K with a triple glazed unit of Ug 0.5W/m2K.
Materials
One of the outstanding aspects of the Avino Vero range is the sheer range of timbers and timber finishes the frames are available in.
Choose from timbers of oak, larch, spruce, or douglas fir, all with a range of finishes possible from each. You can choose to showcase the natural beauty of the wood with a natural oil finish or deepen the colour with a stain.

The glass used is triple glazed as standard, offering Ug values from 0.5 W/m2K.
The maximum height possible for any of the configuration is 2400mm with a maximum weight of 120kg per sash for the turn or tilt and turn windows.
The interior sightline is 90mm however, the exterior frame is most often covered and appearance frameless within passive house designs. Fixed elements of the window configuration can either be completely frameless or can choose a beauty 41mm frame to be visible.
