Thermo Pine Cladding is a very popular cladding solution due to its natural resistance and strength against hot weather and extreme climates.
Pine has a natural resistance to rot which is combined with its exceptional durability and strength creating the ideal cladding system. With the ThermoPine system, the cladding will start as a warm light-brown colour and will slowly age into a natural grey as time goes on.
Pine cladding can be used for a variety of applications. The cladding can be adapted to create wood ceilings, wood paneling, decking, wooden gates, fences and sun shades. This allows for the same cladding to be installed throughout the interior and exterior of a project which creates an interesting effect as the various timber installations age and warp differently depending on their surroundings.
Our ThermoPine with knots is thermally treated at a temperature of at least 215°C without the addition of chemical substances, using steam to prevent splitting and cracking.
Following this treatment, thermo pine is comparable to hardwood classes I/II, and moreover has better shape retention and an appealing warm colour that weathers to a natural grey over time. Pine is also more durable and more resistant to moisture and wood rot.
