Reclaimed Timber Cladding

A Sustainable Timber Cladding Option

Our salvaged wood has a unique appearance and character due to years of exposure to the weather. It includes real grooves, splits, knots, and nail holes. These boards with their rustic appearance instantly evoke the cosy atmosphere of their original location thanks to their obvious history. Additionally, because all of our reclaimed wood is made from recycled building materials, selecting it represents a very sustainable wood source.

Reclaimed timber can be used for various purposes from reclaimed timber cladding to reclaimed timber doors etc. Reclaimed timber is often salvaged from old homes, barns, industrial buildings and buildings ready to be demolished. These environments age and effect the wood types differently, creating amazing patterns and effects within the timber.

Reclaimed timber cladding is treated, sanded and air-dried to ensure its longevity. The timber is air-dried to a moisture content of 12-20% which ensures that the timber will not over-dry and crumble. We often suggest leaving reclaimed timber on-site for at least one week to allow acclimatisation before installation.
